Employees may choose one of two (2) medical plans offered by PHG. Prairie Holdings Group covers a large amount of the medical insurance expense.
Our plan helps to cover preventative, basic, and major services for employees and their family members.
Our vision plan helps to cover the expense of eye exams, eyeglasses, contacts, and includes Lasik procedures for employees and their family members.
Provided at no cost to the employee, Prairie Holdings Group pays the premium for this Basic Life, AD&D and Dependent Life coverage for all employees and their families, to ensure our employees have financial protection.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Keep more of the money you earn by setting up a general purpose (medical/dental/vision) and/or dependent care flex accounts. These accounts offer tax-free savings opportunities each year. For example: A general-purpose account, $2,650 may be saved annually (2018 limits). And a dependent care account of up to $5,000 may be saved annually (2018 limits).
Health Savings Account (HSA)
Employees may receive a tax-free savings account for medical, dental, and vision expenses to use now and into the future. The HSA is available to those who choose the high deductible health plan. Employees who choose the HSA will also receive Company match up to $350 per year for Single, $500 for Single +1, and $650 for Family.
Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability
Both short and long term disability is provided at no cost to the employee. In the event a medical situation arises; one that prevents an employee from working, Prairie Holdings Group pays the premium for you.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Because we care about each of our employees, employees and their families may take advantage of a free and anonymous EAP program in which they can receive support for a variety of situations that everyday life can bring.
401(k) Plan – Employees may voluntarily participate in the program and receive an employer match to their contributions.
Profit Sharing – Prairie Holdings Group of Companies may provide a discretionary profit sharing bonus, which will go towards employees’ 401(k) plans on an annual basis, based on the company’s success.
